My cat has been missing for nearly two weeks now. She is also very skittish and frightened of strangers and other animals. I have been ooking for her first thing in the morning and when it starts to get dark as it is quieter. I don't think she would respond when it is noisy. I hope you find your cat soon.

Cats do that when you cruelly confine them and treat them cruelly. Install a pet port.

This is a serious issue, she might be affected with arthritis . Make a visit to a vet and get him properly diagnosed for the cause and also get her treated as soon as possible or your cat can become completely immobile.
