Gun control laws do not remedy violence.  We already have violence control laws.  The only solution is for the people to defend themselves.

Countries with stricter gun control laws do in fact prevent gun related crime and deaths.

And contrary to the talking points of the NRA, do not constitute a lack of any other rights to the populous, or the onset of a tyrannical police state mentality.
