Rocmike I see you started off with Anonymous and now Bill. Are we going to have to hear from all 100 of your aliases telling us you are against gun control?

I would revoke all gun laws which prevent law-abiding citizens from having the best firearms immediately available in the world to help combat cretinous, non law-abiding citizens or foreigners. A loaded firearm by itself, cannot kill or injure a person until an outside force acts with/upon it.

Rocmike aka American Patriot, this post will save you a lot of time because all of your aliases sound the same and use these words over and over. I guess it has something to do with security, not in gun control.

It would appear obvious that our huge volume of anti-gun-ownership laws have failed, because the theory behind them is completely in error.  Our "occupiers" have become a genuine threat.  Untrained vigilantes may well exceed the law and may not be properly disciplined in the maintenance of law and order.

Mr. Holmes is only further proof of that error.  Aggravating that error by expanding it will only aggravate the problem that these laws failed to alleviate.

I propose a solution.

1.  All persons in America, who are between eighteen years of age and fifty-five years of age, American Citizens, regardless their past with the exception of those convicted of assault or murder, or are psychiatrically ustable, or are considered habitual drunks, or have specific moral objections, shall be enlisted in the Militia.

2.  All who are in the Militia shall be required to attend intensive training totaling eight days in the classroom, and ten days at the range, at currently disused military installations under an Omnibus Order by the Department of Homeland Security.  Pay will be the same as Military Basic Training.  Failure to attend training will be considered Unauthorized Absence and dealt with accordingly.

3.  All Militia shall swear un-divided loyalty to the United States, to their home state, and to the people they shall defend.  Active-duty Military will be expanded in their scope of duty as trainers for the Militia.

4.  Militia duty shall be on-call-as-needed, on a schedule published to all militia personnel.

5.  Twenty years militia service shall qualify the militia for full VA benefits if injured while on duty.

6.  Militia members who commit ANY felony crime while members of the Militia shall be pr4osecuted to the limit of existing statute.

7.  Militia members will serve one year unarmed, before we issue weapons.  Once found suitable for armed duty, Militia members will be issued weapons from Government armories, suitable to their duties.  These will not be line weapons currently issued to combat troops, but will be obsolete weapons in serviceable condition and inspected annually by an armorer.

8.  We will dispense with NCIC, and all other "nuisance" laws that do not prevent violence.  Persons who are not enlisted or qualified for the Militia, excepting convicted felons or mental patients or drunks, may purchase arms without restriction.

9.  Rules of engagement will be the same as existing State law and County Ordinance.

All in favor say AYE!

Leftists don't matter, but reason matters. Disregard leftists as they cannot understand reason.

It's too late, America is stuck with its gun insanity.

we can't control what others do, but yet we try anyway and some times it works. the president wants to change our constitutional rights to bare arms if he is reelected. or was this a fluke accident. we don't know! everday someone or something gets to us and if you don't know how to properly control yourself accidents like this will continue to happen. we cannot control everthing in life so the government needs to stop trying. "we the people" have rights it's what our forefathers has set up in documentation. we should have the right to bare arms to protect ourselves in our homes and cars from those whom to be a threat ie... terroist since they are allowed to come to america, or those whom want to cause harm. I believe our government needs to wise up and stop trying to get that next electorial vote so they can be in office. It's time to hammer down and ask the right questions and if they cannot answer then "we the people" need to not choose that person and vote none of the above. we are the ones whom control our destiny and we are failing. I also believe that schools need to add to their adjendas on learning how to cope and once a week pick a different title and go through the steps. no i'm not a medical doctor or a politician. i'm just an average joe whom trys to do what's right everday. it's our responsibility to take care of each other. i have been to so many different countries and have seen how they live and treat each other, let me tell you from experience you "the people" don't know three fourths of what goes on in those countries. so again my answer is "yes" we should have the right to bare arms.
