No law would have stopped this demented crazoid nor would any weapons restriction have reduced the severity of his attack.  The variable in this equation is the response of those upon whom this demented loonbag opened fire.

Making guns illegal would make illegal gun dealers all the wealthier but our ignorant leftists never thought of that, did they?

people intent on acting violent against other people use guns because they're convenient. If they didn't have guns and they were adamant about their motives, they would likely use something else. Knives, hammers, chainsaws, even rocks. I live in a country with strict gun control, and my neighbour was stabbed to death at his front door. It isn't guns we need to control. What we need to control is our propensity as humans to commit acts of violence against each other. If we can get a handle on that, there would be no need for gun control.

Your Lynn makes a point here. In that last shooting where a woman was running in politics that was from NJ that got shot in the head in AZ, it was being stated that the mental health system failed him.

I'LL agree with that, we need better health care, this fucking place is making me mentaly ill.

Just a few days before this shooting as I remember there were about 17 people or so killed in a bar somewhere near a campus and nobody spoke of changing the gun laws nor did they make such a big brehaha about the entire situation.

Then you have the killing execution style of college students about 30+ as I remember and again no such brewhaha.

Then we have the Mussie Major who killed 13 on the military base and injured how many?  And again no brewhaha. 

It is close to an election so therefore let us have a huge brewhaha and let us flood all the stations everywhere on the TV with day after day of NOTHING BECAUSE THEY KNEW NOTHING BUT THEY KNEW A HELLUVA LOT ABOUT THE MUSSIE MAJOR DID THEY NOT?

James Holmes is only the start of things to come. 

He was indoctrinated by leftists to think violence is the solution for everything.  He thinks terrorism and vandalism will get him everything he wants, he planned ways to kill the most people, and he singled out peacekeepers for death on his boobytraps.

Occupy Wall Street fanatics are the most violent left wing extremists in American history by a huge margin.  They got their violent mean streak by playing brutal video games, listening to leftist hate speeches, screaming defiance, and doing only what the gang tells them.

Occupiers are the enemy and should be treated accordingly.  They got their tactics from Muslim radicals, and it won't be long until the Occupiers start putting IED's beside every street just the way they did in Iraq during Iraqi Freedom.  

Leftists have always had a sadistic mean streak, and are low enough to play games.  Holmes' act of vigilante violence was only the first of thousands more to come. 

Yet after Obama took office the first thing the right did was come out and bare arms right in his presence and even said that the spilling of blood once in a great while is a good thing.

It sounds more to me that you get what you ask for - It just doesn't come as you expected.

Terrorists will always be terrorists.  Atheists in particular (our beloved Mr. Holmes is an avowed atheist) have a specific disdain for commandments such as, "Thou shalt not murder."

Holmes' act comes from a lack of conscience, morality, and religious values.  It is one thing to fight well in war and to defend one's family from attack.  It is another to become a twisted, anti-social atheist murderer and plan this sort of hateful crime spree just because atheists all want to be hated.

Another atheist named Ted Kaczynski outdid Holmes.  Atheists will always try to outdo each other for sheer hateful atrocity.  It is their cult's doctrine.  Of course, the same must be said of Timothy McVeigh, yet another atheist who acted out terrorist hate because his leftist cult always demands violence.

Very well, Holmes became an atheist and wants to be hated for his evil deeds.

He has succeeded. 

The NRA whips up fear about gun rights in order to sell more guns for the gun manufacturers. They are a lobby group. And we're paying the price for this lunacy in dead and maimed citizens.
