There are a few guns I'd like to keep out of civilian hands: the GAU-8 30mm cannon for one. It has limited use in hunting (unless you have it mounted in an A-10C and are hunting tanks).

It is twenty-three feet long, the magazine alone weighs 11,000 pounds fully loaded, it requires an electrical, fire control, and hydraulic service to operate, specially trained ordnance technicians to maintain it, and may be difficult to put it in a holster.

Fairchild designed the A-10 Thunderbolt II around this docile little popgun. At full throttle, the recoil of this beast will stall the aircraft in 34 seconds continuous fire. A-10C has a cutout that allows only .75 second bursts, which is ample to shred any tank besides Abrams and the British Challenger. Other tanks, say your prayers.

The illustration didn't come through but here it is again so you know what a real gun looks like. To put it in scale, the barrels are seven feet long.

That is one weapon I would have trouble carrying. Maybe it is best to leave it with ther Air Force. Anonymous wants one because it is obnoxious and illegal but that is why leftists have no place in any rational society.

I would have trouble trusting a leftist with a pea shooter loaded with cotton balls. Leftists abuse anything like the criminals that they are.

Maybe we need to require that gun purchasers be able to answer points of law -- correctly -- before the gun shop would sell them firearms or ammo. That will leave leftists completely disarmed and put us in control because leftists are always wrong.
