Of course it's a hard thing to talk about. People that want to kill will find a way to get a gun. I don't think stricter gun laws would work. Thankfully, this isn't something that happens often. If I was about of the theater shooting in anyway- I'm sure my views would be different.

In Germany, following WWII, German civilians were forbidden from owning guns of any sort, regardless that they have the longest history of gun making in Europe and made the finest firearms in the world.

That is why they began manufacturing their own rifles, shotguns, and pistols, mostly select fire and full automatics, using ideas and designs they had mastered during WWII.

They came up with vastly superior weapons and much more potent ammunition now that they were no longer making guns for Der Furhrer. Within three months of the end of the war, and seizure of all known firearms by the victorious allies, Germans had more guns, better ammunition, and more accurate sighting systems, than ever before.

SHAPE in Brussels gave up and repealed the German Disarmamament Regulation and allowed the Germans to make and own all the guns they wanted.

As of then, the Germans ceased hating the Allies and began cooperating with us, knowing as they did that they could resume making guns of any sort at any time.

When it once again became lawful for Germans to own guns, they ceased taking potshots at UN and Allied occupation troops. Immediately following VE Day, it was hard to tell that the war was over considering the number of casualties still being reported.

Apparently our leftist liberals are ignorant both of history and human nature. That is because they have all been taught absolute flapdoodle and will not learn the truth because leftrist are hateful enough to preach the bitterest of lies -- and never feel one twinge of guilt about the bloody result.
