not exactly. Perhaps some other efforts on other sides such as mentality care, oriented public service etc. need to be done

Things that hurts a lot won't matter one day.

No, I don't think that would be the best route to take.  I agree with Mercedes, we do need to monitor our mentally ill and disturbed people more closely.  Guns are not the problem.  Guns are used by people.  Disturbed people are the problem.  It doesn't matter about the weapon...heck...even airplanes can become weapons in the right hands, as we witnessed on 9/11.

The laws we have do not work.  There is always a way to act out violence.  Remedy the causes and you will effect the cure.
