Do you think Oprah's big bucks will help Obama?

For most celebrities, I'd say no.  I think that a celebrity's support for a politician is usually both a blessing (money, fame) and a curse (Hollywood telling America what to do), which cancel each other out.

However, with Oprah Winfrey, I'd say yes, her support will help Barack Obama.  Oprah has a large fan base who really listen to her.  When she endorses a book, it goes to the top of the bestseller list.  When she endorses a candidate -- especially when she spends and raises money for that candidate  -- there may be a similar effect.

Knowing what I know of Oprah, She has a giving way about her, not to make herself famous, but to help and up lift others. I think her name first and her money second will help Obama. Not knowing her personally,  I don't think Oprah is a person that will endorse anything that will harm or hurt these United States.

I've seen a funny episode of "Family Guy" about the blind support that Oprah's fans have towards her when Stewie reads east of Eden. For sure the bucks won't help as the her name or her appearance next to Obama. I think she will raise his popularity like mentioned before she has a huge crowd that will do anything she says or recommends.

ofcourse they will anyone's big bucks will help ant candidate, especially if he already a contender, not to mention that oprah is loved and reveard by thousands of people in this country.

I think Oprah's big everything pulls strings. 

I do not watch her nor listen to her nor care for her.  Americans have become weavel brainless creatures who allow American Idol, Oprah and all the scmucks on TV and movies run their lives to the tune of total abandonment of common sense.  Americans are brainless, mindless followers of the foulest of things and that includes Obama.

Twas the Night Before Elections . . .  

Twas the night before elections
And all through the town
Tempers were flaring
Emotions all up and down!
     
I, in my bathrobe
With a cat in my lap
Had cut off the TV
Tired of political crap.
     
When all of a sudden
There arose such a noise
I peered out of my window
Saw Obama and his boys
     
They had come for my wallet*
They wanted my pay*
To give to the others*
Who had not worked a day!*
     
He snatched up my money
And quick as a wink
Jumped back on his bandwagon
As I gagged from the stink
     
He then rallied his henchmen
Who were pulling his cart
I could tell they were out
To tear my country apart!
     
On Fannie, on Freddie, 
On Biden and Ayers!
On Acorn, On Pelosi'
He screamed at the pairs!
     
They took off for his cause
And as he flew out of sight
I heard him laugh at the nation
Who wouldn't stand up and fight!
     
So I leave you to think
On this one final note-
IF YOU DONT WANT SOCIALISM
GET OUT AND VOTE!!!!
