What do you think of a woman who complains that her career/education goals were ruined when they got pregnant

I read on a message board about this and the person said that if their dreams were truly important, they would have been using birth control religiously or resorted to adoption or even abortion if a pregnancy still happened. He/she thinks that the women in that situation just accepted their predicament as though they couldn't change it.
