I think it was a tragic mistake. I think Zimmerman thought Martin was up to no good...and I think Martin thought the same thing of Zimmerman...and they were both in the wrong place at the wrong time. I DO think Martin attacked Zimmerman BECAUSE he thought Zimmerman was following him to do him harm...and Zimmerman defended himself. Who's fault was it...? Reminds me of the old saying..." 6 of one and a half dozen of the other..."
I don't think we'll ever know the true story. One side has one version of the story, the other side has another. Trayvon was no angel and Zimmerman was no devil. If he's charged at all, I think manslaughter should be the charge. It wasn't premeditated and I don't think it was murder. He was mostly just scared and made a mistake. I'm sure Trayvon's family and friends wouldn't like that, but I don't think anything stronger would be justice. And if a guy with a gun was following me, I'd think he was pretty much up to no good, too.
Only on judgement day will there be a answer that is correct.
