Do you think that a stalker or rapist is basically a person who is selfish and feels self-entitled?

I once read a person's thoughts on someone constantly messaging a person on a dating site who consistently ignored them and pretending to be someone else in order to talk to them (those actions can be considered stalking). The person accused them of being, selfish for refusing the consider that the person they wanted to date didn't want to date them, spoiled, and of believing that their entitled to have whatever they want.
