what questions would a therapist ask me?

Answers

Usually the first question would be why you're there. This is a more complex question than the factual recount of the specific referral, and could be the beginning of a discussion based on your answer. If your parents made you go to therapy, it's worth checking into your relationships with them. If you have a particular thing you want changed, it could probably lead to a discussion of why this thing bothers you, etc.

As you go along and hopefully establish some kind of a relationship based on trust, other issues will surface.
