In fact any Acid will do.  One doesn't need even a strong (Low PH) acid, even a mild acid will do.  So why not enjoy it ? and save money as well !  Add lemon juice (sqweeze a lemon) to some water and you have a home made, nice, mild acid, smells nice, and with a cloth smoothly wrap it.  Nice, easy, and smells well too.  True: stronger acids will work quicker.

Hello Anna, I don't know where are you from and what kind of problem with limescale do you have-do you want to remove limscale from surfaces (in this case acid helps) or if you want to get rid of hard water problems from your house (and in this case I would be good to have some kind of softener; the best one is for a whole house like for example an

electronic descaler ; or just any kind of softener that isn't so expensive).
