Why won’t my WiFi work on my Samsung Straight talk phone? I just got done talking to a customer service agent at straight talk and they told me that the WiFi feature on my Samsung T528G phone is disabled. That Straight talk doesn't allow this feature to work because you are paying for the plan to use the internet and in my case the $ 30.00 30 day plan and I am getting more of the internet then I am paying for if I use the WI FI feature. This WI FI feature is on the box and I was also told about this wonderful feature at Wal-Mart. And using this feature wont count against the 30MB of web used. That is why I bought it. False Advertising. Time to report this to the consumer. and the Consumer protection Agency!!
Just thought I would let everyone know that I was finally able to use the WI FI feature of this phone after a few days and several attempts it began to work. I am not sure why, and I don't understand why I was told by the Customer Care Specialist at Straight Talk that this feature is disabled. Makes you wonder about how knowledgeable the Customer Care Department is when they tell you such things.
