Yes.  It can be done.  The car will quit when you open any door to prevent someone from driving off with your car.  Do you have specific wiring questions?  There aren't all that many wires.  Hood, Brake, Start, Power, ground, Ign, Lock, 4 doors, trunk, parking lights, antenna, and the PEP Key (Smart Key) module.
