When i list my stimulus money on turbo tax, it causes my refund to decrease. Does this sound normal? Could this be because i made more money in 2008?

The turbotax put an entry on line 42 of $600 as a rebate refund. I did not catch it but IRS did and took it off. I never put it there in the first place. Turbotax error??
