I have wallpaper damage around my thermostat. How do I get the faceplate off so that I can repair the damage. It is a Carrier Infinity thermostat.

The monitor on the white rodgers thermostat reads 14 and doesn't allow me to do anything. I changed the batteries and tried to reset by pressing the up and down arrow and time simultaneously.

honeywell chronotherm lll thermostat if i lay it on a table, it seems to operate correct. but when i install it, it goes back one period and temporary starts flashing.

what temperature do people normally leave their thermostats at... i was always told about room temp so at the lowest to leave it around 68 especially when there is a child in the house.
