When and how did you teach your kids to brush and floss? Did they learn them fast and easily? I notice that it's a bit challenging for my wife (and myself) to teach those to my children.

This a true head start. Most of the time, parents do not watch how their kids use their toothbrushes hence they end up spoiling their gums or not brushing their teeth appropriately.
