Why is AOL mail messed up today either won't sign in or won't open emails?

Is email from AOL Security team stating my email account is infected and I need to open an attachment for the fix or my account will be deleted. Is this a scam or legit?

What is error P0 and why haven't I been able to check my email all day long? It's been giving me that error since early this morning, only saying that it will be back soon.
