I want to know why you can't sign into AOL 9.6 software with a username that contains a special character in it. Say a . (dot)?

I don't need questions answered and I don't need AOL determining my interests. Keep the message boards.

how can I block a family member from accessing my address book, mail foolders, sent mail, saved mail, etc.without being signed on?

i only have aol for the message boards. why are you getting rid of them? Don't you realize how many people will never use aol again if you get rid of the message boards? bad idea!
