Do I need the IBAN number to transfer funds from Europe to US? My Chase bank in the US doesn't seem to know its IBAN and the bank in Europe is unable to process the transfer without the IBAN.

it think you need the fedwire, clearing code and the account number of the target bank. sometimes i use the international bank search on http://www.bankers-telenet.com !
