They probably did something unethical and the Bar took their license. Without more info one can only speculate on the exact reason. Suffice to say, it takes something really bad for that to happen.

Obama lied on his liscence application, MO had to drop her law liscense by court order.

Without more information there is no way to really answer that question.

Foolproof you say? Challenge excepted.

Sleeping with a client is a good way.

Addiction is another.

But just like ac said, you have not provided us with sufficient information to give you a good answer.

Keep close to Nature's heart... climb a mountain or spend a week in the woods. Wash your spirit clean.* Victims of circumstance owe it to fate. Victims of choice owe it to themselves.*One of the widest gaps in human experience is the gap between what we say we want to be and our willingness to discipline ourselves to get there.

Abuse of the law any which way you look at it!

There are any number of disciplinary causes to censure, limit, or disbar attorneys.  Any willful breach of ethics or failure to work professionally is suitable cause to move the Bar Association to act.

I have posted my opinion on AOL Answers as a public service. These opinions are not intended as legal guidance nor do they create a counsel-client relationship. I recommend that you also consult counsel where you have an actionable case or so have reason to believe. E. Carter, Esq.
