Why do you suppose Obama said this?

HERE IS HIS RESPONSE WHEN HE BACKED OFF FROM HIS DECISION TO REQUIRE THE MILITARY PAY FOR THEIR WAR INJURIES. Bad press, including major mockery by comedian Jon Stewart, led to President Obama dropping his proposal that veterans carry private health insurance to cover the estimated $540 billion annual cost to the federal government for treatment of injuries to military personnel. The president admitted that he was puzzled by the magnitude of the opposition to his proposal.

"Look, it's an all volunteer force," Obama explained. "Nobody made these guys go to war. They had to have known and accepted the risks. Now they whine about bearing the costs of their choice? It doesn't compute ... I thought these were people who were proud to sacrifice for their country," he continued."I wasn't asking for blood, just money. With the country facing the worst financial crisis in its history, I'd have thought that the patriotic thing to do would be to try to help reduce the nation's deficit.. I guess I underestimated the selfishness of some of my fellow Americans."

Obama is utterly unpatriotic.  Soldiers, Airmen, Sailors, Coasties, and Marines, all do one thing:

We write out a blank check to Uncle Sam.

Uncle Sam writes out a blank check to us.

That is the deal!

Now, Obama wants to single out and persecute disabled vets the way he singled out and favored his Muslim allies in Saudi, Yemen, Iran, and Kenya!

How cute.  Remember that in November.

Armed Forces go in harm's way and do it on faith that Uncle Sam will care for us if we get ruined.  Did Obama expect an E-1 to pay part of his meager salary for health care insurance?  What does that do to a unit's operational readiness?

That is how little Obama knows about America.  Face it, he flunked out of 3.5 years of OJT.
