I think you are losing it Undertaker. Don't you know a poor man will never give you a job.If you tax the rich to death they will lay people off

Undertaker, You must be kidding or being facetious. I know you are just trying to get a reaction. Of course Obama will need all the money that he can get to be able to spend more and more and more.

Only two ways for the Government to reduce the deficit, either raise taxes, or stop spending.  Which do you think it will be?  And if the rich are taxed more, if they don't lay people off, they'll just pass the increase down to them.  Either way, we all suffer.

No, what President Obama is trying to do is get insurance coverage for 20-40 million uninsured folks and make the overall cost to everyone less.  This can only be done three ways, raise taxes, reducing services and care or sticking it to insurance companies in return will put us all on the public plan in time.   I am against any plan that will do any of the three. 

If, against all experience with governmental entities, one believes that Obama, with his wealth of business experience, can deliver a workable government management of health care, turning water into wine and feeding the multitudes with a few loaves and fishes are simply cheap parlor tricks. Jesus move over...we have the real Messiah here.

As an American, concerned with and for America, NOT a party, an agenda, or a particular politician, I beg you to please use your god given brain to think about what it is you are advocating. Please remember that what you and I are discussing has yet to be fully disclosed to us. We are discussing for and against an unknown. Just the concepts that have been handed down to us by those with an agenda.


We both agree that Health Care, needs reform. It needs an overhaul, but not at the price, the unaffordable price that the current legislation is going to cost. At least the projected cost of what has been shown us to date. This is your future, these are your dollars, this is the legacy that you will have to live with. Trust me when I say the path you are choosing is flawed.


Massive change, equals massive disruption. Massive power, equals massive corruption. We as Americans cannot afford to have the foxes watching the chickens. It never has, and never will work. The foxes get fat, (for a while) then the chickens get consumed. As a result the foxes die of starvation. It is a cycle of life that is doomed from the start. No belief in political rhetoric is going to change the axiom.


To be ideologically involved is a wonderful thing. To be ideologic without using logic in this debate is simply to become someone's political pawn. This is moronic at best.


America has and will continue to be great because of one underlying principle. That principle is the separation of powers which our forefathers had the foresight to employ in our founding documents. What does this do. It simply keeps the balance of power in check. If power is kept in check then this ship, this America, this country will continue to flourish and lead the world with innovation and compassion. Don't get me wrong, sometimes we screw it up. It is not perfect, but the overall larger result has been to better this world even with the mistakes. Our ship needs to remain upright.


It is my belief that this current administration wants to upset this balance. They want unprecedented control. What does this mean for you, and your future if we allow this to happen? What does this mean for your children? What does this mean for the World that has quite frankly looked to the United States as the savior of freedom, and guardian of peace? Look back at your history and ask yourself, "Where would I be if my country had not taken the steps it did against Hitler. Against Japan. Against the Russians. And now, against radical Islamic factions that want to strip you not only your way of life, but most likely your life itself. Where would I be now if we as a Nation had gone down a path of one party rule with no separation of powers. Just look at your history of the nations that have followed this course. This is all I ask of you, and that is to open your eyes and see what has occurred throughout history. It is not magic. Just a reality check on how truly great OUR America is because of the foresight of these founding principles.


I know what you are thinking. It sure is a far stretch from Health Care to Fundamental Islamic factions. However, I will point out to you that it is ALL  part of the same connection. The connection is simple. The connection is our sovereign government, and its ability to choose, not through a single source of knowledge or rule, but through the multiple layers of individual and collective thoughts that have been created. A process that, as stated has not been perfect, but has proven through the ages to be functionally correct a majority of the time. To be blunt, a tract record that is not open for debate, as the results cannot be skewed by those with focused agendas. 


A. you have no clue as to who I am. I am not sure that at this point in your life if you have a clue as to who you are? I don't mean this sarcastically, but more in the light that without some of life's experiences it is hard to be fully versed in what is being thrown at us in this political debate. I am not sure anyone is or can be fully versed, no matter the age. However, with age sometimes comes a more rounded perspective. It is with this perspective that I ask you to truly look at what is being asked of you. Not by your convictions, but by the convictions of others. How are these actions going to impact those who fall under the sphere of influence and rhetoric. What is the fallout going to look like to my children? What is the fallout? Is the cost maintainable for the benefits being proposed. or, are the benefits being proposed simply a ploy for those less scrupulous in a simple grab for power.This power grab is not new to history, in the past, the present, nor the future. I am simply asking you to think about these things before you sign on to a program that none of us truly knows the magnitude, or the scope of, as they have yet to be disclosed. What I am asking you to do, as I am doing myself, is to simply think.

Being a registered democrat I must protest my objection to the new 2000 page Pelosi's health care bill

• Higher taxes 700 billion dollars in middle class tax raise
• Funding for abortions
• 500 billion $ in medicare deductions
• Death panels are back

I don't believe President Obama will sign this bill.He got my vote because he disagreed with all of the above.I have faith in my President.I believe Nancy Pelosi is trying to make our president look bad.

  Good Morning Friends,

   As most of you know, We have a small Kettle Corn business. We have a lot of shows lined up this winter in southern Florida. This little endeavor is not being done for the love of big money. It is a lot of hard work, and has all of the pitfalls and challenges of any business. We have now done four events and our little company has proved to us to be very rewarding, not in a monetary sense, but in ways that money can't buy. 

   This weekend we were doing a show in Lake City Florida. Most people call them events, but we call them shows. Why? Because we entertain. We interact with the audience, we create a set, and we really do put on a show. Quite frankly this is right up my alley, and I feel very comfortable in this element. In other words I get to act, to say, and to be, whatever the scene requires without fear of reprimand for being crazy. As D told my son, "Bring on the Show Pony, and let him sell." Gotta love it.

   Something happened this weekend that kinda brought everything full circle.

The atmosphere was very festive. Kids and parents alike were dressed in costumes of all descriptions. My favorite was Mr. Pumpkin Head, and his wife Wonder Woman. Anyone who will put a REAL pumpkin on his head and walk around for hours in 85 degree heat, has my vote. When they stopped by our booth to buy a bag of Kettle Corn she was a classic. She looked at Donna and said, " I could have married Brad Pitt, but look what I got. Mr. Stupid Pumpkin Head!" Mr. Pumpkin Head didn't say a word, just bobbed his stupid Pumpkin Head up and down. The guy had my respect.

   Later on I noticed in the crowd a young lady, and who I assumed was her sister, walking through the event. The one girl was afflicted with Downs Syndrome. I latter found out the afflicted girls name was Chris. It seemed obvious that she was in utter amazement over the costumes, the band, and the festive atmosphere. She too, loved Mr. Pumpkin Head, and I could see her pointing and laughing at his outfit. It was obvious that she was having a great day. What was also obvious was that her sister was not. I can only imagine how hard it is to care for the special needs of Chris. My hat is off to her.

   Chris and her sister eventually stopped by "Kernel B's" to buy a bag of Kettle Corn. D. had gone to lunch and left me to watch the stand. I am sorry she was not there.

  The sister asked me how much for a bag. I told her, and she proceeded to dig into her purse for her money. When she paid, I gave her a bag and a smile, and told her thanks. It was at this point something awesome happened.

   Chris grabbed for the bag and was immediately rebuked by her Sister. I could see the look of disappointment on her face. I motioned for her to come to me. I gave her a bag of Corn for herself. As she clutched the bag a look came over her face. I will never forget that look. Never!

   She proceeded to put the bag down and grabbed my hand.

She looked me in the eye and in" SIGN", while mouthing the words said, " I     LOVE      YOU."

All I can say is that the Show Pony cried, and is crying as he is writing this now.

I will simply let you be the judge of what I learned on Saturday.

A simple hint,"It aint about the money."
