The U.S. House of Representatives has voted to continue using disposable tableware such as foam cups from platehttp://www.biodegradabletableware.com.cn/and other polystyrene products, the latest salvo in a congressional food fight over the sustainability of the Capitol’s restaurants, eateries, and cafeterias. The use of disposable foam cups and food platecontainers, along with plastic cutlery, in the House’s eateries has been the subject of a long-running battle between Democrats and Republicans. Seems to me they could solve the problem if they simply recycled the containers and such. It is all recyclable material, after all. Polystyrene is recycled quite a bit by the plastics industry. All it takes is for people to make the effort. I'm not a green person by any means. But common sense doesn't take that much effort.
This is a spam question; the live link just hasn't shown up yet. This Destiny person and that other guy who I can't remember his name keep posting stuff about "disposable tableware." They make it sound like real questions but if you pay attention you can tell it's not, it's all ads.
Report the buggers and maybe AOL will do something about it one day.
