Sulfur & Cream-of-Tartar Wafers

When I was a young boy (75 now), during the summer months each day my parents gave us a chewable "Sulfur & Cream-of-Tartar" wafer.  It was about the size of a quarter, when taken daily prevented mosquitos, ticks and chiggers from biting.  I haven't been able to find these.  Does anyone else remember them and are they still available???
