Evening Black Tie Fall Wedding

If you're headed to a fall wedding soon, you're probably wondering what to wear! Here are my suggestions for every type of fall wedding, starting with the classic style of black tie.

At a black tie fall wedding, men should wear tuxedos and women should wear formal gowns. While you can get away with wearing a dressy cocktail dress, it's better to wear a floor length gown or an evening suit. Black is acceptable, but a jewel tone will feel more festive and fun.

This long blue gown by Calvin Klein hits all the right notes for a fall wedding. The one-shoulder strap allows you to sexily show your shoulders, without being inappropriate with too much cleavage. The navy color is demure, but the bit of sequins at the top add some fun.
