Strawberry plant care in Southern Califronia.

So. California (very hot ) cut down the Strawberry plants after that are no longer bearing fruit?

I'm not sure of one either. I lived on an avocado ranch in Ventura, and my next door guy was a strawberry farmer. I remember him planting the plants at the beginning of the season, with the field covered in some kind of white plastic. But I don't recall that he ever took any plants out until the season was over. I wish I could tell you more, but I was paying attention to growing avocados and artichiokes and I didn't pay much attention to the technical stuff Butch did. We bartered a lot though.

If a little knowledge is a dangerous thing, then that makes me a burning truck filled with TNT hurtling through a rocket fuel depot.
