How to store smoked turkey?

Best answer I found, The USDA recommends that for optimal safety, buy a fresh turkey only if you do your shopping within 1 or 2 days of when you plan to serve it. The reason is that fresh turkeys, like other fresh meat and poultry, are highly perishable. You need to be careful when purchasing and storing them to avoid spoilage. If you buy one too far in advance, it may start to spoil in your refrigerator before you're ready to cook it.

A whole frozen turkey can be stored in your home freezer at 0 degrees Fahrenheit or below for up to one year without appreciable loss of quality.

To be in two places at once is virtually possible.

you are renting that space and should be able to smoke there no matter what. try smoking by an open window.

I know many people keep chickens in cities. I don't know about turkeys. I expect the same restrictions would apply. You need to find out the codes in your city, like calling animal control and finding out what you have to do to legally keep them.
