I always suffer from this habit in the form of indigestion or diarrhea, but when some delicious stuff comes before me I forget every rule except eat eat and eat.

only strong dedication towards not eating a lot can help you out. When ever you will to eat, make a habbit of getting involvev in other work and making your self busy. Hope this may help you out.
