How to get stolen property from a pawn shop

Report the stolen items to police using receipts, serial numbers, pictures, and anything you have as proof of ownership.  You can name the pawn shop as where the items were spotted in the report.

Thank-you for replying.. It happenens to be a diamond ring given to me by my farther who had made it about 20 years ago when he was a jeweler... the person who stole it confessed to me and told me where it was I just don't have any reciepts, serial numbers, pictures, and anything that will show that I am thee owner. What should I do?
