Discuss A Brown's answer to: Sterling Silver Fork Has a marking on the back that states Sterling Patent AT1902. What does this mean

What does Patent AT1902 on a Sterling fork represent

It probably is the batch number of that fork when it was made. They put a number on all kinds of things to preserve the patent on it so it can't be reproduced. I am a firm believer   in Googling things I need answers too, so try that and see what you discover. Good luck, hope it's worth a fortune.
