Contact List Disappeared

Easy solution (this time at least!) I signed out of AOL and signed in again, and the contact list was replaced.

I had the same problem. Stumbled upon a solution after much effort. Sign in to your email account. At the far right corner, there is an option button. Hold down the "shift" key and click on the option button, then click on the help button. You then will be given options to reset your AOL ...
