My question is about Spyware Doctor: Is this download a freeware version or a trial version?

It must be a trial version.  Spyware Doctor is not free.  Though it's good I know there are better spyware removal programs that are as effective considering the price

I would recommend that you explore these too:
http://www.ewido.net - AVG(Ewido) anti trojan.
http://www.lavasoft.com - Ad-Aware SE Personal anti adware
http://www.safer-networking.org... - Spybot Search and Destroy anti spyware

Don't ingnore Microsoft Defender either.

In my experience there is not one spyware removal program that removes all spyware.  You will likely need two or three different ones.

This is definately freeware version. I downloaded it and it works fine, but what they don't tell you is that you have to register to remove any spyware found. Try the oter sites as listed by OTHor

Spyware doctor requires a licence. Ther is a simpler version without heuristic scanning which is free, but does not work effectively.
