Who is the best all time professional Baseball Pitcher?

I did not start following baseball until the mid to late 50s. Nolan Ryan needs to be on the list. Everything before that is hearsay. The Deans were good, especially Dizzy. How about Cy Young? There's a pitching award named after him.

Unfortunately, this is a question of opinion and not fact. Just ask people who the best quarterback of all time was.

Or 0 the prez's speech. Those who support him applaud that he wants to invest in our future. Those who disagree with him shake their head and wonder how irresponsible spending can be made synonymous with investment.

I guess the bottom line is that I can rejoice in all great athletic performances, wonderful stage plays, and terrific symphonies.
