im sorry to hear that... I got a divorce when my children were 3 an 6 months of age.. It was very difficult.. it gets better with time.. idk how old your kids are but try to explain to them why its ending up this way an its not thier fault...

In many ways divorce is like a death in the family. You must go through the natural stages. Shock is usually first as the situation usually presents itself as a surprise. Next is Anger, the stage where you may lay blame on yourself or your partner. Sometimes, Guilt is next, then Depression, and then lastly, Acceptance. These steps are normal, but can become out of control. If this is the case, then you would need to speak to a counselor or other professional to help you through it all. Most importantly, try to explain to the children in the simplest way possible that none of this is their fault, and they are not to blame. Good luck, hope I was able to help.

So often times it happens, that we live our lives in chains and we never even know we have the key. Quote #3.
