Since I'm not gay, not really. But it might be someone I'd value as a friend.

If a little knowledge is a dangerous thing, then that makes me a burning truck filled with TNT hurtling through a rocket fuel depot.

What if it were a woman?  Does this person sound like someone who is emotionally weak and lack self-confidence.

No, not to me. More someone sensitive and creative who feels they don't quite fit in this world. Believe me, being a writer and an artist, that description could fit quite a few of we creative types. And certainly wouldn't stop me being interested if it was a woman I found attractive. But I'm a bit odd. A person fitting that description has more difficulty finding the right person, but generally it's worth the effort.
