What Is The Best Song Of All Time? I would have to say Stairway To Heaven

I consider Stairway up there in the top 10. But for me, #1 is Bach's Moonlight Sonata as well as Toccatta and Fugue in Dm. Those two are tied at #1. Both songs have probably been played more times than any others. Including versions of both songs played by any number of heavy metal and symphonic rock bands and other modern and progressive bands. Deep Purple played one or the other at almost every live performance. And both those songs have influenced the writing of thousands of songs, Including Stairway to Heaven.

If a little knowledge is a dangerous thing, then that makes me a burning truck filled with TNT hurtling through a rocket fuel depot.

For me it was a toss up between both Stairway To Heaven, and Time To Say Goodbye by Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightman. Neither are my particular taste, but I'm factoring in all the variables when making my decision. Damn hard to pick only one that's for sure.
