Solve this math problem of substitution5x 2y-1 2x-y=-13

I guess the 2 equations are (missing the "=" sign) 5x = 2y-1 2x-y=-13 ---------------- from the 2nd equation: y = 2x +13 Going back to the 1st equation: 5x = 2*(2x +13) -1 5x = 4x +26 -1 5x - 4x = 26 -1 x = 25 y = 2x +13 y = 2*25 +13 y = 63
