Discuss PGroot's answer to: Who can solve sequence 6 5 15 10 70 _____

I agree that VI, V, XV, X makes sense as Roman numerals.  But 70 should be LXX, not XXXC.  So it's not clear if the next number should be LX (60) or L (50).  Or perhaps 70 was in error and it should have been 60 (LX).

Bill Compton Thinks this answer is Helpful:

There is a difference between schools: leftist schools teach Caesarian numerals as their Roman system and conservative schools teach Augustian.

I begin to think that was part of why the Roman Empire collapsed: inconsistent standardization.

Rocmike aka American Patriot, not bad for you. You have only posted for over 2 hours under your new alias Michael MacGilvray, over 3 hours under Bill with some dfrogpong and anonymous posts thrown in there. All repeating the same crap over and over and going to old questions and answers. Either you are posting under new aliases I haven't found yet or maybe you are getting a life. I am betting you are posting under new aliases I haven't found yet.
