My mother has this really old book and she wants to know if its worth anything or is it just old. Now the title is "Rubaiyat Of Omar Khayyam - Illistrated by Doris M. Palmer - printed in Great Britain by the Riverside Press Limited - Edinburgh - in 1859. The paper is really um thick not thin like paper is today if that makes any difference. Now if it's just an old book fine if not do you have any idea how much it's worth?
Thank you for your asistance,
Janie

The deciding factor in old books is how rare they are. The Rubiyat was extensively printed. But I don't know about that prticular edition. Illustrations should give it more value. You might try the Antiques Road Show website. I think they have a place there where you can ask questions like this.
