Does multiculturalism strengthen or weaken America's identity? Please provide some examples to support your answer
America was long described as a melting pot.
Now nobody wants to blend in for the common good. Everybody's personal good is view as the common good. People are loathe to even discuss this. America resembles a landfill.
The US is known to be a melting pot. It makes us richer because of the culltures from specific places that we then inherit, the languages, style, poverty, wealth, talents . People crave coming to America because of our freedom and opportunity. The criminal factor is becomming a problem and that may mean more stringent rules need to be enforced before citizenship is granted.
Hey, America is a nation of immigrants -- and I'm 2/3 Iroquois! Got that set in stone by the Tribal Elders.
We ain't Americans. We have our land and things got weird since BIA and all that but you know, we vote cause that affects us -- in a big way.
So my Dad was black. He and Mom had 55 years together and were happy. I got nothing against that at all. Half the Iroquois people are that way and we have no hassle.
The hassle we have is that Kenyan ILLEGAL immigrant telling us what we have to believe and what to do.
If you want to bring out that warrior heritage in me, all you have to do is ask me to take sides with that foreigner.
