Social and/or word and/or tagging games for bloggers, blogs or blogging

Do you know of any types of games you'd suggest for bloggers, or maybe any tag-related games?  For example, I recently played this one:


1. Grab the book closest to you.

2. Open to page 123 and scroll down to the 5th sentence.

3. Post the text of the next 3 sentences on your blog.

4. Note the name of the book and the author.

5. Tag 3 people.


I'm not looking for flash or video games, but for social or word-oriented games that encourage or involve blogging and/or interaction between bloggers.

I'm not sure I understand your question, so I'm not sure if this game will be OK, but I came across a game called "Sliding Doors" (like the movie) where bloggers wrote about how their lives would looks like if the made a different decision than they did some time in the past, and then asked 3 other bloggers to do the same.

Did you mean things like that? I don't really get what you mean in "tag 3 people"...

Here are a few games that I remember from my blogging days:

  • show us a picture of you as a baby
  • your southpark image (can't remember the site that lets you create the images, I'm sure you'll be able to find it)
  • 10 things the blog readers didn't know about me
  • what do you have in your purse/wallet/bag?
  • explain your nick
  • your favorite clothing item

There is the game where you ask people to take their iPod (or whatever MP3 player they use), put it on random shuffle and note the first 10 songs that come up. 

No cheating is allowed. You have to write exactly what appears. Even if it's the Spice Girls.
