You can ask SSA to check if you would be better off by drawing a widow's pension and choose whichever one pays more, but you cannot simultaniously draw both a regular pension and a survivor's pension.

I'd agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.

You did not mention whether your ex-husband is alive or deceased.  If he is alive, you can draw on his record if one-half of his benefit is larger than your own; if he is deceased, you can draw on his benefit is his amount is larger than your own.
