Renegade is right about this. Obviously, if someone is currently mentally ill or in a chronic state of illness than they would be unsuitable. However, if there was an incident in the person's past and they are qualified to do the work presently than they absolutely should be allowed to work there. They would probably have a unique perspective and compassion for the patients as well.
