You are making an awful lot of assumptions for someone who claims to be open minded. First off, the only people living out their lives on social welfare are those whose lives cannot change from when they first applied--they will never be able to support themselves; everyone else has limits to how much they can receive and how long they can receive it. I believe you already know this just like everyone else who take a beef against spending their measly few cents that goes towards such programs right up until the day people like you need it themselves.
