Discuss Bonestructure's answer to: Snakes

poisonous snakes only attack humans if humans come up to them or do they attack human with out a human coming up to them?

In general, most snakes only attack if their space is invaded. The only snake I know of in the US that is aggressive is the water moccasin. In places like Africa and Australia, there are a couple of vipers that can be aggressive. But mostly it's if the snakes feel threatened, they'll strike. Most snakes only have two choices, run away or strike. Not my favorite animals. My policy has always been that I'll leave snakes alone if they leave me alone.

If a little knowledge is a dangerous thing, then that makes me a burning truck filled with TNT hurtling through a rocket fuel depot.
