I had an accident in my kitchen.

Some food was burned in the kitchen several hrs. the smoke cover the house (inside) more less 5 hrs inside.

Walls and carpet still with the odor. What can I use to eliminate

 odor?

Ventilate, ventilate ventilate...

If possible, leave at least two airways open at all times.

Remove all burnt parts, and wash or even discard the really hopeless bits.

You might have to re-paint.

After several days, if not weeks, of ventilation, you can start using scented candles or deodorizers.
