I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess that those small worms are small worms.

If you have worms of ANY kind in food, pitch it, and clean the container or pitch it also.  You might want to go through your whole food storage and find out if you have insects there laying eggs.

Food borne illness is no joke.  Bad food can make you change religions!  You might start out a normal enough person but after you get bad food you will be worshiping Raoul, the porcelain god, for a long time.

Wild women don't get the blues. Once you have tasted freedom, there is nothing sweeter. Get in between a Kodiak mother bear and her cub, or between an Alaskan and her freedom, and you will have the same problem.
