Slow Windows 7?

I know that Vista was much slower OS than Windows 7 but is there a reason why Windows 7 runs very slowly on a medium strength PC?

This is the minimum requirements to run Windows 7 on your PC, here's what it takes:


  • 1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor

  • 1 gigabyte (GB) RAM (32-bit) or 2 GB RAM (64-bit)

  • 16 GB available hard disk space (32-bit) or 20 GB (64-bit)

  • DirectX 9 graphics device with WDDM 1.0 or higher driver

Most of the computers today are packed with programs and features that the users do no want. These often comprise trial editions and limited versions of programs that are meant for the trial usage of the customers. The software companies usually install them to your computer for the users to try them. Theses programs might slow down the performance of the computer by utilizing precious memory, disk space, and processing power. So it is better of the users to remove these unwanted programs from the computer. get help to fix windows 7 slow down . hope this helps you.
